About Me
I began my education at Ohio University where I received my Bachelors of Science in Photojournalism from their Visual Communications Program in 2006. I received my Associates in Veterinary Technology from Bradford School in 2013. I love adding to my wealth of knowledge and believe learning is a lifelong process.
I have spent the last 10 years creating strong relationships as a veterinary technician in Columbus, Ohio and its surrounding communities. In this fast-paced environment, I had to grasp new concepts quickly, react promptly and appropriately under pressure and work in collaboration with my team. Communication, teamwork and attention to detail were essential to my duties and the health and safety of my coworkers, clients and patients.
As a technician, I used my passion for design to reconfigure and create client handouts and instructional sheets. I take pride in creating straight forward and easy to navigate documents to help overwhelmed pet owners find the information they need.
As a photojournalist, I spent 5 years working for community newspapers and 3 years as a freelance realty photographer/videographer. I’m at ease meeting deadlines, juggling multiple assignments and working both independently and in collaboration. I have 20 years of experience using Photoshop and am comfortable using Adobe Creative Suite.
I am an efficient and organized hard worker, as well as a fast learner. I believe my unique background and love of design could add a new perspective to your team. I would love the opportunity to schedule an interview with you so we can discuss your needs and expectations in more detail. I look forward to hearing from you.
